DTP : How to embed an image ?

1 • Switch to " Tracks " mode. The non-embedded image will be simulated by a rectangle with a cross.

 

2 • Select the element in question and click on the " Incorporate " button which appears at the top of the Illustrator page.

 

3 • Check again if the incorporation was successful by switching back to the " Drawing " mode. WARNING: It is only possible to do this if the source file is in the same folder as the file to be corrected.
