Digital Flex is a process of printing and cutting on a thermobonding paper called "Flex".
With this process, four-color printing is possible because it requires a digital printer equipped with a vinyl cutter. The support, once printed and cut, is pressed onto the textile with a professional machine.
ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL TRANSFER
Digital Flex allows to print just like on paper, with no color, gradiant, or finesse limits. Photographs can also be printed.
This process is compatible with all textiles and offers a good alternative to digital transfer in small quantities (starting at one copy).
LIMITS OF DIGITAL TRANSFER
This technique requires weeding and does not allow the cutting of fine and complex details.
The rendering will be thicker and "plastic" than a silk-screen or digital MSO transfer. It will be as flexible as a digital MSO transfer.
CAUTION: The Flex Digital orders are shipped unweeded and without an Application Tape (except for one example). Do not forget to order the appropriate Application Tape.
