DTF (Direct to Film) transfer is a process that allows the printing of four-color graphics on a plastic film and then the application of a powdered glue undercoat.

This process allows to produce four-color printing without any problem regarding the number of colors and color gradients. The transfer is then hot pressed with a professional machine. The final result depends on the quality of the provided file.

ADVANTAGES OF THE DTF TRANSFER

The DTF transfer allows an infinite amount of detail and color as well as gradients. All images are realizable with DTF transfer and no edging is required.

It is the most economical transfer for a quantity of less than the equivalent of 10 A3 sheets and the fastest (same day shipping for any order placed before 11:00 am on a business day).

LIMITS OF THE DTF TRANSFER

Since the DTF transfer is a four-color printing transfer, the colors are not obtained using screen-printing inks, it is therefore impossible to obtain an exact Pantone color. It is also impossible to add an antimigration undercoat.

The DTF transfer is adapted for basic textiles (cotton and/or polyester type). It will be thicker and slightly stiffer than a screen printed transfer.

Please note that the screens do not perfectly reflect the printed colors, there may be a small shift in the printing of your transfers.
